This year has been quite a different one from what I'm used to. I've had to deal with things beyond my comprehension and I've learned things about myself along the way. One good thing that I've managed to gain from everything is that I've gotten a little more confident in my writing. I'm not at the place I would like to be, but I think I'm getting there. Part of my confidence stems from the professors that I've had. I've received a lot of feedback, both positive and constructive. I still can't consider myself a good writer because I think there's always room to develop and grow. Right now, I'm just trying to enjoy the summer break, but I think I should also use this time to come up with some ideas for a possible first novel. I have some ideas, but they're still not fully flushed out so I need to work on them some more.
